Canon U.S.A. to Display Image Capture Technology at Dreamforce

MELVILLE, N.Y., October 4, 2016 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, has announced that it will be showcasing its image capture technology and solutions at this year’s Dreamforce, an event targeted specifically towards Salesforce users across a variety of industries.

Aimed towards decision makers in vertical markets such as government, healthcare, retail and financial services, this year’s event will be held from October 4 through 7 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, where Canon will be located in booth #144. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe how Canon’s solutions can help improve workflows and easily scan important documents using its imageFORMULA devices and software.

At Dreamforce, Canon will be previewing a new solution for imageFORMULA devices, which will conveniently allow users to seamlessly scan tasks into Salesforce’s cloud service to help automate business processes, rather than having to enter the data manually. The feature will be accessible by downloading a new Canon component to be available from the Salesforce App Exchange. Canon will also be displaying the imageFORMULA DR-C225, a compact and user-friendly office document scanner. The imageFORMULA DR-C225 is built to help users save desk space and also lends itself to easily scanning documents of a variety of sizes, making it a natural fit for users scanning contracts, invoices and business cards.

Also on-hand will be the imageFORMULA P-215II “Scan-tini” mobile document scanner, designed for users on-the-go. The device’s “plug-and-scan” capability allows users to plug the device into a laptop to begin scanning without having to install any software. The imageFORMULA P-215II device also has wireless capabilities to assist users who may need to utilize scanning capabilities while traveling.1
