Ramsey, NJ – December 3, 2014 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (announces the launch of the PageScope Mobile iOS App version 4.3 and the PageScope Mobile Android App version 4.0.
PageScope Mobile is a downloadable application that connects a bizhub MFP with mobile devices, allowing end-users to browse, read, scan and print select documents and images. Once paired using a Wi-Fi connection, PageScope Mobile enables users to utilize their business documents in a variety of creative ways and take advantage of mobility with Apple and Android mobile devices.
In addition to providing support for recently introduced Konica Minolta devices, PageScope Mobile Android App version 4.0 features integration of Near Field Communications (NFC), a short-range wireless technology that enables data exchange between NFC-supported devices in close proximity. When a compatible NFC tag is affixed to a Konica Minolta bizhub, PageScope Mobile enables communication with the MFP and supports functions including: automatic PageScope Mobile App start up, printer registration, as well as printing and scanning.
