Rapid Growth Leads MWAi to Expand Structure and Announce New C-Level Executives

SCOTTSDALE, AZ —August 4, 2015 — MWA Intelligence Inc. (MWAi), a master value-added reseller (MVAR) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for SAP Business One and leader in enterprise resource planning software (ERP), is pleased to announce new hires and promotions as a result of its unprecedented growth in the first half of the year.

MWAi will establish two internal groups. The first group will continue the company’s focus on the imaging channel. The second group will have two primary areas of focus. First, the management of major accounts will include the development of the Konica Minolta partnership and other major OEMs. The other area will concentrate on the hotel and hospitality business, which was developed through MWAi’s 2014 acquisition of Soliton.

To help advance this growth, MWAi has announced new roles and additions to its C-level team. Jenna Stramaglio has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. John Brostrom has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for the imaging channel division in charge of implementation, development, and support. Ken Staker, former president and founder of Soliton, has been promoted to Chief Information Officer of the overall MWAi organization, as well as COO for the new hospitality and specialty accounts division. Gavin Williams will retain his position as Chief Solutions Officer, and Hiro Ueda will remain in place as Chief Planning Officer, assuming responsibility of forging the company’s partnerships with OEMs and solution providers to innovate IoT solutions.

“We’re in a new phase, and we’re on a very aggressive expansion program,” said Michael T. Stramaglio, President and CEO of MWAi. “We are continuing to add dealers to our growing FORZA family, and we have many more scheduled for the remainder of the year. We’re bringing new people in to support this growth and creating the two divisions to apply our resources properly.”

FORZA, designed and developed by MWAi and built on SAP Business One, offers companies an alternative to business systems that are based on multiple bolt-on software programs. Offered on premise or in the cloud, FORZA enables real-time decisions by capturing critical information across sales, customers, operations, finance, and service, making the information instantly available company-wide on desktops and mobile devices.

“Greyrock Capital Group is an important part of our expansion program. They provide the resources needed to support growth and leadership, and they are extremely excited about our future,” continued Stramaglio. “We’ve achieved exciting, recognizable growth with FORZA in the first half of the year, and with these changes, we’re setting the company up for even greater success in the rest of the year as well as into 2016.”
