Orlando, FL – April 1, 2014 –VirtualWorks Group, an Alfresco Technology Partner, announced at the AIIM 2014 Conference the certification and immediate availability of both the ViaWorks Connector for the Alfresco One Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system and its integration into the Alfresco Share interface.
ViaWorks allows companies to easily search and instantly retrieve all enterprise information sitting inside, outside and across multiple Alfresco installations – from inside Alfresco.
The ViaWorks Connector unifies search results from external applications and data sources residing outside the Alfresco One ECM system – such as SharePoint, Exchange, OpenText and legacy application repositories – into a single, searchable interface. The newly certified integration brings universal search capabilities from inside the Alfresco Share interface. VirtualWorks is making the APIs for this integration into the Alfresco Share interface available under an open source license, so it can be freely used and modified by the Alfresco developer community.
